Employers can Reject Employees, But Can Employees reject Employers?

Few days before my friend got job in three companies at a time. From these companies two have sent him offer letter. He had to select one of them. Now problem is that all three were good. Finally he selected the best company which had offered him best salary. Now when he informed other two companies about this, they were angry on him. They sent him an email. In email they had written , he has wasted their time in interview process etc. We will never ever consider you for next time etc. They are absolutely right from their end.

But here, aren't candidates wasting time for interview. Employers are calling candidates for interview by searching good resumes on job portals. They are asking candidates to come for interview on employers time. Due to this candidates have to get time for interview. And also they have to give some lie reasons to their current employers (if candidate is employed somewhere else). After reaching interview place, the interviewers are taking too much time of candidate on their place. They are just wasting candidates time by making them waiting for long time. And in place of one hour work they are taking 4-5 hours of candidates. Aren't they wasting time of employees?

At some places, mostly in institutions and government organizations, they are placing ads in news papers about vacancy in their company/institutes. But they are hiring some relatives or some persons who have the best reference before interview or before placing ads on news papers. They are just announcing vacancy ads just for showing to government. They are calling candidates for interview. They are wasting candidate's time and also their time. After interview they are rejecting candidates without giving any reason. If someone asks reason about their rejection than they are behaving very cruelly with candidates.

Now if a candidate gets selected in company. But due to some reasons he says no to company. Now what company is doing. They will blame on him. They will say, candidate have wasted their time and lot more.... Some company are taking important documents (such as mark sheets or degree certificate) of candidates before interview and if candidate gets selected they are not giving him back his documents till he joins his company and works for the company for 1 year or more time. If candidate rejects their job after selection then they are not giving him his documents for long time. And in this way they are wasting both of their time. This makes candidate to compulsorily work for them . Here employer can ask his employee to leave company at any time, but employee cannot leave company as per contract. Is it good to candidates??

By all this I just want to say that, if an Employers has right to reject employees then employees also must have right to reject Employers.

Companies feel so insecure today. The fact is they have made themselves vulnerable due to lack of trust in their employees.

Intellectual theft can be a reason for that. But it isnt a valid reason.
